Animage September 2011 + Prince Animage Summer 2011

Don’t mind a few missing smiles on the recap shots (literally), it’s probably because of the dust removal filter on my new scanner. It doesn’t seem to be helping much so I’ll probably turn it off for future scans. XD

Takeuchi Junko (Endou Mamoru) and Terasaki Yuka (Matsukaze Tenma) interview
✿ The interview is more like the two reflecting on the episodes that have aired up to the interview.

Prince Animage Summer 2011
Highlight: Inazuma Eleven Interview Palooza Mizushima Takahiro (Kiyama Hiroto) and Kodaira Yuuki (Midorikawa Ryuuji) interview, Takeuchi Junko (Endou Mamoru) and Terasaki Yuka (Matsukaze Tenma) interview, Akiyama Katsuhito (Director) and Kamakura Yumi (Director Assistance) interview, Kaji Yuuki (Minamisawa Atsushi) interview w/ summaries

Mizushima Takahiro (Kiyama Hiroto) and Kodaira Yuuki (Midorikawa Ryuuji) interview
Highlights:
✿ Since Mizushima wasn’t in the last episode, he didn’t get to be in the final gathering picture (See Animage May 2011 – Legend of Raimon Eleven Memorial Book). Kodaira was in the picture because she also had her role as Max. Burn, Gazel and Ulvida even made it because of other overlapping roles, but Desarm’s also didn’t make it.
✿ Saginuma (Desarm) is one year older than Hiroto and Midorikawa, making him 15 years old. Midorikawa calls him “Saginuma-san”.
✿ The seiyuu make the observation that Saginuma, Haruya and Suzuno don’t change their personality much after the Aliea fiasco. Midorikawa was the main change, and he probably spent more time practicing being in alien character than practicing soccer (lol).
✿ Hiroto and Midorikawa actually never had any direct interaction with each other during the 2nd season. It wasn’t until the 3rd season when people unexpectedly find out that they got along pretty well.
✿ Jokes about how Midorikawa’s Aliea team is probably all the people who were bullied at Sun Garden.
✿ Jokes about how Midorikawa’s soft ice cream hair is from the power of the Aliea meteorite, while Hiroto’s is out of his own straight power.
✿ Jokes about Haruya probably drawing the line marks on his face
✿ Jokes about Tulip-head and people going “hey, there’s something growing out of your head” (lol).
✿ Jokes about how Tsunami got into high school in the first place…
The jokes go on… XD; Overall, it just goes to show how in-tune the seiyuu are with the actual characters in the story!

Takeuchi Junko (Endou Mamoru) and Terasaki Yuka (Matsukaze Tenma) interview
✿ Predictions about what the cast did during their 3rd year in jr. high school

Akiyama Katsuhito (Director) and Kamakura Yumi (Director Assistance) interview
✿ Readers sent in fanart depicting their image of the kids in their 3rd year of jr. high, and Akiyama and Kamakura picked out certain ones to talk about in the magazine feature.

Kaji Yuuki (Minamisawa Atsushi) interview
✿ Kaji’s message to Minamisawa: The answer you’ve decided on is only one of the answers out there. But because of that, you might be growing up to be an adult too soon. It’s okay to be more like a jr. high school student. The moment you have to grow up will come to you later. For the time being, please just keep chasing after that soccer ball.
